NEAL JEFFREY,
former All-American quarterback at Baylor University and NFL
quarterback for the San Diego Chargers, is a popular corporate
speaker and much-loved minister at one of America’s largest
churches.
A stutterer since childhood, Neal learned early-on
the meaning of “overcoming” and that somehow he had to find a
way to “get through what he couldn’t get over.” He found it,
and today, he inspires audiences nationwide to throw out the “I
can’t,” “I’ll never make it” and “I’m not good enough!” – to
“dream big, believe with your heart, show up and make a play!”
As the quarterback who led Baylor to
their first Southwest Conference Championship in 50 years, Neal
packs every presentation with a brand of enthusiasm and passion
that is rarely seen anywhere. His background in sports gives him
a unique platform in churches, sports teams and events, corporate
conventions, conferences and training seminars to challenge men,
women and students to go “higher, swifter, stronger” in the
critical areas of life.
Neal holds a bachelor’s degree from
Baylor University, a master of divinity degree from Southwestern
Seminary, and has just celebrated his 25th anniversary as
associate pastor of the 28,000-member Prestonwood Church of
Dallas, Texas. He and his wife Sheila have three grown children
and two grandchildren.
His first book – If I Can, Y-Y-You
Can! – inspires men, women and young people to achieve their
highest and noblest dreams through the power of faith, belief and
action – by “giving all you’ve got to become all you can be.”
